You meet the guide-instructor at El Chaco pier, get your protective gear and the safety briefing, then ride in line behind them along the trails of the Paracas National Reserve, through sand and rock with views of the Pacific.
It is for adults with a valid driver's license who want the most active option without spending half a day. You can choose a morning or afternoon departure. Wear closed shoes and clothes that can get dusty, plus sunglasses and sunscreen; a neck gaiter over your face helps with the sand.

Do I need a driver's license to ride the ATV?
Yes. The driver must be of legal age and hold a valid driver's license.
Can I ride as a passenger on someone else's ATV?
No, the tour is one person per ATV. If you want to share a vehicle or are traveling with children, the minibuggy tour is the better fit.
Is hotel pickup included?
No. The meeting point is El Chaco pier in Paracas, and hotel pickup and drop-off are not included.
Can I combine it with the Ballestas Islands?
Yes, we offer a half-day version that adds the Ballestas boat trip to the ATV ride, with pickup in central Ica. This 2-hour tour covers the reserve only.
What should I wear?
Closed shoes, long trousers and clothes you don't mind getting dirty. Add sunglasses, sunscreen and a neck gaiter, as the desert sun and dust are intense.
