A full day at the archaeological sites of Palpa and Nasca, returning to Ica in the afternoon.

Departure to Nasca
We pick you up at your hotel in central Ica and start the drive south.
Inca Profile Rock and Palpa viewpoint
Stop before the Río Grande district to see this natural formation at the foot of the Andes. Then, from the Palpa viewpoint, you see the geoglyphs known as the Paracas Royal Family.
María Reiche house and museum and the Lines viewpoint
You visit the museum of the German archaeologist who devoted her life to studying the Nasca Lines and climb the viewpoint at km 423 of the Pan-American Highway South.
Los Paredones and Cantalloc aqueducts
You walk around the Nasca aqueducts: of the 46 found, 32 still work, an example of ancient hydraulic engineering.

Frequently asked questions
Does this tour include a flight over the Nasca Lines?
No. You see the lines from the Pan-American Highway viewpoint (km 423) and the Palpa geoglyphs from their own viewpoint. If you want to see them from the air, the flight is booked separately.
How long is the tour and when do I get back to Ica?
About nine and a half hours. Departure is at 6:30 a.m. and the return to Ica is planned between 4:00 and 4:30 p.m.
